some poems

Scrambled life

Days belonging to the bygone time
Clinging somewhere in a hidden mind
Bringing with itself all the blues
And all the days with different hues
Time passing with a different rift.
Remembering life’s different cliffs
Commuting and blending these drifts
And now analyzing some cheerless cricks

Is it possible to change this rhythm alone??
Is horizon so near to clinch on my own?
Discarding the trifles and mysteries
And of course the hidden perplexities of this platform………

Life nothing but a scrambles of pieces
Unjoined if remained, may create nemesis
Don’t let the dreams swaying away from the genesis..
Else the zeal will not remain in the premises

Nothing in the world is so divine
But still everything here seems so benign
This is nothing but illusion of mind
Coz certainly, one day, this divine get malign ..

incomplete

Yet another day of my life
Was subjugated by an enormous twilight
Forming the vivid formations and the moods
Of several emotional nosedives

Like an avalanche of the ripples
This heart sometimes dribbles
When the gigantic tides of the feelings
Get unable to quench the instinct

Why this panorama gets changed at once?
Yesterday with flowers and today irritants
Close the eyes and deafen your ears
Still seems someone squalling in front..

Agony is a state of mind
Calmness and serenity are another that sublimes
Deep inside our self, pondering, waiting for the benign .
Traveling like a desperado, this unfaithful mind
Leave us amidst the cyclonic wind

INDIAN MUSIC ->jOURNEY THROUGH THE AGES

This is yet another handout briefing the musical domain from my panorama.I m trying to add some more ingredients in our musical cuisine by apprising][
my aquaintances different and vast spread orbit of this rich Indian heritage.

MUSIC-....MAJESTY IN THE BYGONE
As the Indian culture is one of the oldest and richly endowed with its own ecstasy, so was the music at its par. When long before, the entire world was dug deep in the ignorance and peculiar notions, one of the Indian scriptures, mainstays of whom were the Rigveda,Atharvaveda,Yajurveda and the former one, enlighten and entice the that time community towards this whimsical harmony.
Music in our shastras is considered to be 'Nad Brahma' .This was a major tool for meditation, and also a manner of accomplishing self realization.
Indian music is based upon the seven swaras, the saptak, amidst any two are uncountable shrutis .(shruti is the smallest uncountable interval of the tuning system.)

The Indian music is mainly categorized as Hindustani(north Indian) and Carnatic shailey(south Indian).the seven swaras describes above are made changes one way or the other and are then tied up to form different jatis and then ragas. These ragas are considered efficacious and are designs accordingly. Most of the People are well aware of raga malhar after singing which often makes the rain copiously. Some virtuoso says that Indian music has no conversant with the words that are given to those swaras ,but i do not agree with their views. After all, how come a person fit rummy words that are beyond what that particular raga actually stands for.

Indian classical music is a monophonic that's based upon a single scale. Also there are different type of musical tone, oldest among all is the dhruvpad gayan ,giving more stress in the constancy of swaras.Thereafter came khyal type, fast and more likable by the bourgeois. It is said that the Indian music has a shadow of the Persian and Iranian music as well, all the credit goes to one of the gigantic Indian maestro ,Miyan Tansen. He tried to well understand both the theories and then prepared a bewitching harmonized form of the two.The newer taste appealed much the folks and was taken to practice thereafter. This also kept alive one of the most notable quote about our incredible India- "UNITY IN DIVERSITY".

F
ROM PROFLIGACY TO PLIGHT

The modern India has shown a dramatic change in the genre of music and musicians.Where the classical musicians have lost that hegemony, the music has lost that depth and invincibility. But still as the sagacity of the common mass is changing, the melody still prevail. The conventional instruments are replaced .The singing style is changed.Sitar ,sarod are now supplanted by the Spanish guitar, violin etc.Jazz,Rock, Jazz,Pop,Indy Pop are the new avatars adding some context to the present diversity and richness (I would like to say coarseness) in the present.Perhaps because of embracing more and more extraneous civilization in almost all the folds of life,we cudn't keep our sedate music unswayed of it.I dont abosolutely contravene with the drift of the Indian euphony, but it must lose its own forte, its own individuality

Though in our country, there are many versatile singers who have their own specialty, their agile voice often keep the audience spellbound. We can find different voice qualities that also keep one hold for hours and avert ennui. Because of day to day comptetion ,everyday the magnitude of singers is increasing.

The problem is not with their singing style, the problem comes with the lyrics which i found often as provocative and try to enkindle our youths. Also in the country like ours, where different religious groups often pull each other legs often violently,if get anything against their social sanctity, never sway from contempting that all vehemently.

If we look beyond our country's edge , the condition is even worse. The lyrics are really awful, the music coarse and shrilling. Not only this the way, various bands promote is even more concern. One of the as i heard, the Rammstein Band always use pyrotechnics on their almost all the over-the-top stag shows that led the fans saying eventually that"other bands play,RAMMSTEIN burns".Also some other incidence related to the band as being cited from the wikipedia

Rammstein were cited in relation to the Columbine High School Massacre in 1999, when photos of Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold wearing Rammstein T-shirts were revealed. Though there was no evidence to correlate the two events, the band felt obliged to issue a statement:

"The members of Rammstein express their condolences and sympathy to all affected by the recent tragic events in Denver. They wish to make it clear that they have no lyrical content or political beliefs that could have possibly influenced such behavior. Additionally, members of Rammstein have children of their own, in whom they continually strive to instill healthy and non-violent values".
These are some of the incidences that have some where caused a venomous effect on the people from the music. The music is not meant for these such obnoxious outcomes.Let music prevail with its own alluring aesthetic, its divinity must concur with its serenity. It must not loose its bewitching essence.

MUSIc--Yet another cynicism

yesterday i read an article about the death of one of the most eminent lady artist in classical music.
Music-such a word embedding in itself ebullient dynamism, the multitude of multifarious cultures.Being a music scholar,i have personally percieved the vibrance of music, the unusual ecstasy it gives to your soul.Perhaps this is one of the most magnificent contribution to the world from ancient India and its culture. The Classical Indian music in itself a way to divinity and spirituality .It is a passion for someone, for someone just a hobby, for someone nothing but just life.the expressions cant be delved just through words. But in simpler ways,an abstraction of all expressions.what else.Difficult to describe, easy to acclamatize.....MUSIC....$$$

Now there arise a question as from where and why this music invokes hidden cynicism of a person. The devotion it fills inside an individual from its vivacity and serenity often makes one perplexed sometimes ,its perky essence concocted with the mystic spiritualism let a person astounded and waving in its ecstasy.Indians, particularly are seen to have a instinctive love for music..whether one knows its grammar or not,you can find folks of any age expressing their emotions through this

The title of the blog is not indifferent from my state of mind...the insane...really its sometimes too difficult to understand urself ven you desperately try ur best to do this.we often go ahead in the crossroads we never want to go.in the search of the dream we often see and are determined to achieve .but because of lack of the concentration ,we get lost in the mist of thoughts,in the crowd of people..and when its all clear,we are left alone.with noone in the vicinity..and for this we can blame noone but just ourselves fo our faltering steps.but at that time there seems no..way to go out of that abominable lull.
to know oneself is ,as i feel is a herculean task.it needs a constant observation ,a consistent touch with the mind and soul....Perhaps everyone like to be in company .Noone anytime wants to have solitude. But very few would have listened a famous quote that those who scarre to be alone are ignoring one of the most promising friend of theirs, who will accompany them throughout their life, always, everytime.and that is,their own instinct, the first person whose instructions and constant support you get whenever you are in an enigma.but are we paying heed to our intimate friend??..may be no. we often find a voice coming from our inside whenever we are stressed, whenver we find no way to get out of the ridiculoulous worldly satires, when there is a big conflict conflict in mind with what to go ahead and what to leave .It is said that we are always aided by god and are guided and motivated by him always. but how??it is through this voice only.He is helping us ,but its our responsibility to pay heed to those words that are passed to us
